Italian Acro Convention Recap

We did it! We went to Italy to teach at a two week AcroYoga convention. So much to share about this experience and it is hard to recap it into words.

Teaching at the AcroYoga Italian Convention was an unforgettable experience rooted in connection, movement, and shared joy. Nestled in a stunning natural setting, the event brought together an inspiring international community of practitioners and teachers from all over the world.

Each day was filled with dynamic classes, from solar flows to therapeutic flying and Thai massage, creating a vibrant and continuous exchange of energy, learning, and support. Teaching here felt like being part of a living, breathing tapestry of acrobatics, trust, and play.

The sense of community extended beyond the mat. We shared delicious, lovingly prepared vegan meals each day, which fostered deeper bonds and conversations. Housing was simple but cozy, often shared, adding to the communal spirit of the gathering.

A true highlight was floating down a beautiful, crystal-clear river nearby, an impromptu yet magical moment that felt like a gift from nature. It offered a serene counterbalance to the physicality of the practices and was a nice way to cool off from the summer heat.

Overall, the AcroYoga Italian Convention was not just a teaching opportunity, it was a full-hearted immersion into community, creativity, and the beauty of collective movement.
